Download the "larth_fw_v19.zip" file from the link below.
Extract the "larth_fw_v19.bios" file and check its size and date (3.223Kb - 28/11/2011).
Upgrade using the DPP software provided on the CD ROM with the machine.
Follow the instructions in paragraph 5.10 of the operating and maintenance manual, also available on the CD ROM.

Updating your preset software (BIOS) means to have always available the most upgraded and reliable version.
First of all, please check which software version is installed on your PC: it appears on the digital read-out screen when switching the machine on (see the picture).

Download the update file from the link below.

UPDATING PROCEDURE
It is a good rule, before doing the Bios updating, to make a backup of the data (machines and tools/set) which are in the 706 electronics memory, using the “Toolingup” software supplied with the presetter.
The V 4.01 is compatible with all the BIOS versions of all previous Sethy, Hathor and Ankh machines.
The BIOS versions, from V 4.0 on, do not allow to bring the electronics back to previous versions.
The BIOS updating is a very delicate operation that requires the presence of skilled operators as a matter of PC procedures.
If wrongly or not completely carried out, the required operations could damage the preset.
To carry out the updating, after having downloaded the "upgrade_v401.zip" file, take the 2 files out.

Switch the 706 electronics off.
Remove the SD card from the 706 electronics and copy the 2 files on the existing ones.
Reinsert the SD card into the 706 electronics and switch the presetting machine on again.
WARNING! The FLASH reprogramming will be carried out; during this procedure do NOT switch the machine off.

The BIOS updating is a very delicate operation that requires the presence of skilled operators as a matter of PC procedures. If wrongly or not completely carried out, the required operations could damage the preset. In the case these operations have negative result, please repeat this procedure starting from the beginning.
The BIOS updating may require to delete the WASP Preset driver electronics memory content.
Please check the axes origin and the “calibration of the vision system” parameter (par. 8.9.1- Instructions manual).

Updating your preset software (BIOS) means to have always available the most tested and reliable version. In order to run the updating, it is necessary to link the Preset to the PC by using a “Laplink “ standard serial cable.
First of all, please check which software version is installed on your PC: it appears on the LCD screen for about 3 seconds at the machine starting.

In the BIOS list, please check the availability of the most recent version; then download the updating the proper file, just clicking on its relative linking. In order to transfer the BIOS to your preset, the BIOS (BIOS_WASP_EXE) updating software is required. You can download it by clicking on its relative link. Please install and run the BIOS updating software, then follow the guided procedure.
